Sarah Jane Long is an accomplished, award-winning singer/songwriter with more than 25 years experience in the music business. She began singing professionally at age 12, performing as a featured soloist in churches, musical theater productions and various other functions around Western New York. Sarah attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she majored in Jazz Performance and Music Production/Engineering.

While at Berklee, Sarah began working as a recording session singer, performing back-up vocals on albums, commercials for radio and TV, and songwriter demos. During this time she worked with members of such bands  as Aerosmith, Til Tuesday, Peter Gabriel, and Steely Dan, and recorded a song to benefit inner-city children at risk which she performed with Bob Hope at Boston's Wang Center for the Performing Arts.

Sarah also spent some time working in the country music industry, performing as an opening act for Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, Randy Travis, George Jones, Sawyer Brown, and Bill Monroe, among others.

The success in 1993 of Sarah's song The Wish gave her the opportunity to reach a wider audience as it was released around the globe, and appearances on Good Morning America, The ABC Evening News, and The Nashville Network followed.

Sarah has been a featured soloist with NASCAR's Winston Cup Series, where she has performed for audiences numbering 150,000+. The Wish was  recently re-released on an international CD benefiting GLOBE, an organization dedicated to teaching children the importance of protecting our environment.  Sarah lives in Rochester, NY, continues to write and perform music with her writing partner, Daniel Hoh, and her band, The Jane Mutiny.
